Congressional Candidates Support Health Courts
At a recent debate between candidates for Colorado’s open U.S. Senate seat, Bob Schaffer made the following case for health courts: “We ought to establish around the country specialized health courts so that we could expedite legitimate claims against health providers and others in a way that maintains consistency and predictability throughout the country.”
Health courts were also recently discussed favorably at a debate between U.S. Representative Christopher Shays of Connecticut and his opponent for the House of Representatives.

Daschle Recommends Health Courts
Former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle spoke favorably about health courts in an address he gave on health care issues at the New American Foundation.
