When Firms Turn to Lawyers Alan Murray
Wall Street Journal, January 10, 2007 A business columnist in the Wall Street Journal writes that more companies are turning to lawyers today. Philip K. Howard expresses concern for this post-Enron era trend: "We're more concerned with legal compliance than with getting the job done. If you have an economy where people circle the wagons and try and prevent anything bad from happening, the economy will suffer."
